Coaching
Plan coaching is an economical solution for the entrepreneur who desires outside expertise and guidance through the planning process. Coaches will help you to produce your own plan by concentrating on the planning process itself. That is, planning coaches help to overcome obstacles and streamline learning curves in the planning process. Planning coaches can help clients by formulating planning strategies, providing extensive research resources, and by implementing proven methods for successfully creating a plan that will attract the attention of investors and/or loan providers.

Examples of coaching services may include, but are not limited to:

• Explaining inputs, financials, how the numbers come together. What causes cash flow problems? Are ratios realistic? This could be by phone, or email.
• Reviewing the process, providing guidance along the way. Answering questions about content, strategy, wording, and financial assumptions.
• Formulating a strategy for creating a plan.
• Creating a custom outline that meets the needs of a client's business situation.
• Providing resources for research, including market research, industry analysis, competitive comparison, and financial analysis and projection.
• Formulating an executive summary that attracts investment and/or loans.
• Assistance in locating sources for funding.

Plan Review
The Plan Review Service is an expert evaluation of a plan's completeness, credibility, detail, and potential success. The details of a plan review are determined by each individual consultant, and may include: Review of the plan text for coverage of important topics, document integrity, and consistency, highlight missing topics, inconsistencies between topics and tables, and inconsistencies between different parts of the plan.

Evaluation of financial projections for completeness, consistency, and mathematical integrity. The format in which the review will be presented may be in the form of a reviewed copy of your plan that contains the reviewer's comments in the Notes field for each topic and table.
